Hailing from a family of top riders, Megan has been riding competitively most of her life and knows the importance of providing young riders with a thorough knowledge of horsemanship and sportsmanship. Now a successful competitor on USEF and breed show show circuits, Megan has earned numerous event and year-end championships.
In 2009, Megan was privileged to be accepted to participate in the inaugural USEF Emerging Athletes Program for Zone 6 with the 4-foot height group. She is an active participant in the Young Jumper Championship and has competed at the finals in Lexington, Kentucky. Megan competes in high level jumpers and Grand Prix's throughout the country and has been a multiple Top 10 finisher in USEF year-end finals, the AQHA World Championship and Congress. She has trained AQHA Congress and World Champions and has won multiple AQHA World Championships in Open Jumping on Elegant Dimensions.
As a petite rider, Megan is also able to train pony hunters and jumpers for clients. Large or small, she appreciates the athleticism of all horses and knows how to maximize their potential, regardless of discipline. Megan genuinely enjoys working with horse and rider teams and helping to develop a winning relationship. Most importantly though, she loves the sport of riding and the opportunity to bring out the best in a horse or rider.
Megan offers beginner through advanced riding lessons and training. As an active competitor, trainer and instructor, Megan can offer her students first-hand, practical examples as a form of instruction in addition to crucial instruction in horse care and maintenance. Possessing an educational background in Veterninary Science and nutritional management, Megan provides all students and horses with a rounded knowledge of horsemanship that results in successful owner/rider teams.
